Scott Hanson, who with his wife Holly, own and run Antique Warehouse on 25th and Postoffice lent IBC an old American flag for the Fourth of July parade. There is no doubt that this flag helped our float win first place overall in the parade. It is very unfortunate, however, that after the event it was discovered ripped. After consulting Scott about the situation, I took the flag to our local VFW for proper disposal (one of the many services the VFW offers for free).
Upon entering, I was amazed at the layout they had at Post 880 at 1014 24th st. They have pool, tvs, and a full bar. Best yet, they are open to the public! No.... best yet they have the best drink rates in town. You'll find plenty of beer for $1.25 a glass and wont find a beer that's more than $2.00. Our bartender told us to spread the word so consider it spread.
All proceeds from the bar and games to directly to VFW Post 880 so we are keeping it local and helping some veterans that are trying to help others with every visit.
