I'd like to invite EVERYONE to a very fun night that also supports a great cause this Thursday, March 11th at 7pm at The Grand Opera House: the St. Vincent's Free Clinic benefit concert. It is basically a variety show, put on by UTMB students, faculty and staff and 100% of the profits from the event go to replenish supplies and equipment at the clinic.
Last year's event was a blast - they had a traditional Indian dance, men in drag (dancing beside Chandler Rainey, our very own 2009 Modern Bathing Beauty Winner and soon-to-receive-official-label-of "Dr. Rainey"!), singing, and the largest group of guitar playing doctors I have ever seen! (That's Dr. John Ray singing lead there bottom left)
So come out Thursday night - donate a few bucks and enjoy the entertainment - it's for a great cause!
