What a weekend for ARToberFEST! I hope everybody's geared up to come out and enjoy the annual festival that commandeers Postoffice street between 21st and 23rd streets. Art. Art. And more art is the plan. And the weather couldn't be nicer on the Island. It all starts Saturday, October 17th, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and continues Sunday the 18th, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and kids 12 and under get in free.
You'll find anything from custom made jewelry to abstract art at ARToberFEST.
Last year the festival had to be cancelled because of Ike, but it's back in full stroke this year thanks to all the hard work of its organizers (AHEM! Kathy Modzelewski).
Also. Be sure to stop by the T-shirt booth and pick up one of this year's official ARToberFEST shirts (designed by none other than your's truly... IBC). There are two different designs to choose from this year, and IBC will be selling our own merchandise as well.
