Today I have a request. I open up my regularly scheduled blog day to you fine people of Galveston. Or anywhere for that matter. My mind is mush. And I'd like to see a little more audience participation.

My husband and I just returned from a week in Galveston -my favorite city in the world! We had a great time and we were REALLY impressed with the progress that has been made since Ike! I hope and pray Galveston has a great summer! Keep up the good work!

I check this site every day and do read your blog. I live in Galveston, moved here August 2008, survived the Hurricane and still love this island. I also am an IBC. I am also a BOI, but I was born in the island of Capri (Italy). Keep up and know that lots of people follow you.

Throughout History great change has occurred when visionaries see the future possibilities. The grassroots commitment of IBC is just what the island needs to realize her full potential! Galveston was once a place where people wanted to see and be seen. I am sure she's on her way to greatness again!
