Adrienne grew up just outside of Washington, D.C. (Fairfax Co) and moved permanently to the Island once she graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston. After meeting at Galveston‘s Old Cellar, Michael took her on her first aeronautical date and accidentally massacred a greedy bird; then they got married in sunny Las Vegas and are now sweatin’ to the Oldies as they try to resuscitate their 1876 J Reymershoffer Sons building downtown.
Adrienne serves on the board of the Historic Downtown Strand Seaport Partnership. She and Mikie continue to own and operate Nautical Antiques & Decor downtown.
Likes: dogs, white Christmas in Galveston, Dickens on the Strand, and Foam Depot
Dislikes: red tags, squirrely photographers and bad plumbing
Adrienne has been an IBC since 1998 when she came to Galveston to attend Texas A&M. Together with her husband and chocolate lab, she owns and operates Nautical Antiques & Tropical Decor (better known by the website address as the PiecesOfShip.com shop!). She’s also an ordained minister!
