MEET EDWARD DROZDIK, 2012 4th JUDGE WINNER!

It's a daunting task, but someone has to do it!

Galveston artist Edward Drozdik will be taking the coveted 4th Judge seat at this year's Bathing Beauties Contest. A Youngstown, Ohio transplant, Edward took to prose to explain his love of the island.

Edwards work can be seen at many of Galveston's ArtWalks and is currently on display at Brews Brothers. Through thick and thin, he's been an avid supporter of Galveston Island and has lent a healping hand in the Island's recovery.

MEET MARY GRASSO, NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMER

Have you met our singer yet? Mary Grasso, junior at Ball High School will be performing our National Anthem to kick off the Mostyn Law Firm 2012 Galveston Island Beach Revue Bathing Beauties Contest!

Mary is actively involved in both theatre and choir. She is a native Galvestonian and loves the relaxed vibe of the island. She performed in and was the assistant musical director for the GISD All-District Musical "Zombie Prom", she sang at Carnegie Hall in as a member of the American High School Honors Performance Series Choir, and advanced to the State level for her UIL vocal solo.

Recently, she participated in Ball High’s UIL One-Act Play "Leading Ladies", and garnered awards for her work.

HISTORIC GALVESTON ISLAND BEACH REVUE RETURNS MAY 18 & 19 WITH NEW LOCATION AND EXPANDED CONCERT

Building on the success of last year's record attendance, the 2012 Galveston Island Beach Revue returns Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th to historic Galveston Island. This year's Friday night "Bands & Bombshells" concert expands with a larger concert area as well as themed vendors and classic cars.
